AUTOMATIC PLC CONTROLLED PAPERBOARD CONVEYER, PLC STACKER
The down stacker forms an integral part of the corrugator and is installed after the cutoff knife. Its function is to receive the individual board, cut from the cutoff knife and transport them to the stacker bay lift to stack up. The boards from the cutoff knife are sucked down via vacuum and brushes section and shingled onto the conveyor belts. Once the number of sheets in working order is reached, the belts will accelerate to create a gap between the two consecutive stacks. The differential speeds of the conveyor belts allows sheets to be transported into the stacker lift bay, stacked up and discharged. The stacker cycle-time is precisely calculated that the stacker lift bay is in time to receive the sheets of the next stack.
